Conditions Treated

  • Nobody likes to have pain or injuries preventing them from achieving their physical goals. A few sessions of PT can make clear how to manage and adapt your activity to ensure a long relationship with your sport.

  • Fibromyalgia, autoimmune conditions, and age-related arthritis can all be debilitating. PT can help to manage your symptoms and create an activity routine that works for you.

  • After your joint replacement or tendon repair, PT can facilitate optimal range of motion, strength, and function post-operatively.

  • This may include a stroke, spinal cord injury, nerve injury, or brain tumor. High quality rehabilitation has been shown to be vital in regaining function.

  • Whether it’s prenatal back pain or postnatal abdominal separation, pregnancy can do a number on your body. PT will help you gently realign your pelvis and strengthen your muscles.

  • For kids, PT will be a lot of fun and games. Everyone is welcome - kids with chronic disabilities, young athletes, or children with autoimmune conditions.

How does it work?

1. Evaluation

During our first session, we will talk about your medical history, problem points, and goals and you will have a full physical assessment. You’ll leave with some activity and exercise recommendations to start on.

2. Treatment

In follow up sessions, you’ll begin a tailor-made exercise program. During in-person sessions, you may receive hands-on treatment (trigger point release, joint mobilizations, or massage).

3. Exercise Progression

On the days we don’t work together, you’ll be working on progressing your exercises at home (which you’ll have pictures and videos of sent to your email) and me as a resource via email or short phone calls.

4. Achieving Your Goals

As you progress, we’ll practice getting you back to your specific activity goals. Whether it’s getting back to running a marathon or carrying the kids after a shoulder surgery, you’ll return to sport and activity in a safe and sustainable way.
